The Story
A charming and subtle vintage solid gold signet ring dating to the 1970âs. The centre is set with a flat-cut oval sardonyx gemstone. The gemstone can be engraved with initials or a family crest and it would reveal the deep-red colour underneath. It is set within a smooth 14K yellow gold mount which tapers down the back of the shank.
UK size Q, US size 8, 1.79g gold
Unmarked but tests as 14K gold. The ring has some age related surface wear and one small fine crack on one side of the band but hardly visible.
Sardonyx measures 8mm x 5mm, the band measures 9mm north to south at the front and 2mm at the back
