Victorian Garnet Cabochon Cruciform Ring

This charming Victorian era garnet ring dates to the late 19th century and was made in France. The bezel is set with four cabochon cut garnets placed in all the cardinal directions in a cruciform manner. The bezel is attached to a D-shaped band with split shoulders.

The ring is crafted in 18K gold and is stamped with French “tête d’aigle” (eagle head’ control marks for Paris and 18K gold.
