The closed back diamond rests in an openwork belcher setting with 6 prongs, each of these enamelled and designed in the shape of a fleur-de-lys, an iconic symbol of French royalty and heraldry.
This ornate bezel is attached to an equally as intricate band which is detailed with ridges and baluster form shoulders, enamelled and engraved. The attention to detail of this piece is rather impressive and is without doubt one of the most unique examples that I have come across!
