Georgian Rose Cut Diamond Cluster Ring

A striking example of 18th-century Georgian craftsmanship, this cruciform diamond cluster ring showcases the meticulous attention to detail characteristic of the period.

The cluster is set with rose-cut diamonds, all mounted in foil-backed, closed silver settings. These settings, typical of Georgian jewellery, enhance the diamonds' brilliance under candlelight, a hallmark feature of the era.

The convex underside of the bezel is finely engraved, while the shoulders exhibit classic C-scroll motifs, leading gracefully to the head. Additional rose-cut diamonds accent the shoulders, further emphasising the refined detailing of the design.

Crafted from high-karat 21K gold, the ring's band is slender, measuring 1mm, while the cluster head spans 14mm x 11mm, with a 5mm rose-cut diamond at its centre. The ring is lightweight at 2.76 grams, yet offers a sturdy, well-balanced feel.
